This leader in medical devices across Australasia, offering up-to-date medical solutions in surgical implants, operating room equipment and surgical instruments and consumables, is currently entering an exciting growth phase in terms of both product and market development.
Even in tough economic times, it is still achieving growth through product rationalisation, new product offerings and sound industry knowledge and expertise.
Reporting into the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales activities and gain growth and market share with existing and new customers through negotiation, customer focus, education and support of the customer base. You will achieve this through the sales promotion, demonstration and/or validation of products and services across your client base of surgeons, registrars, nurses and other hospital personnel as required.
- You will be adept at working with surgeons and feel comfortable being present in theatres during surgery.
- You will be a self starter with a passion for sales and enjoy the challenge of juggling priorities and getting your trial metrics hit on time and with strong results.
- This is a big role and would really suit someone looking for a challenge, or someone who really enjoys the science behind the trial and craves the autonomy this role delivers.
To be successful you will ideally be degree qualified in nursing with demonstrated sales experience in medical or a technology related industry. Success in gaining this role will depend on your strong sales negotiation and presentation skills, you ability to build strong relationships with clients and your team, and excellent communication skills.
