A rapidly growing global pharmaceutical company has a permanent opportunity for a Senior SAS Programmer. This is to be based in Swiss Romande.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- The Senior Statistical and Data Management SAS programmer provides support to the Biostatistics and Programming group and the Application Development group.

- The role is also accountable for providing programming support to the Biostatisticians and Quality Assurance Project Manager.

- Generate and review statistical output from the registry data

- Assist with qc of SAS programs for regulatory commitments. This includes following relevant working practices to deliver output that is reproducible and accurate.

- Plan and interact with the Biostatisticians and Programmers

- Plan and interact with the Quality Assurance Project Manager

- Generate and design summary tables and listings for quality control of data capture

- Generate, forward and follow up on data management queries to vendors and other external and internal partners.


Education & Experience Requirements

- SAS Certified Advanced Programmer degree or equivalent (SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/SQL, SAS/Graph and SAS Advanced Programming)
- Extensive experience of SAS programming in the pharmaceutical industry or other relevant experience is required. - Previous experience of data management work
- Ability to efficiently manipulate data, to identify and solve problems when necessary
- Communicate and effectively present information to the Biostatisticians and the Quality Assurance Project Managers
- Create costumer friendly report
- Take full accountability for and ownership of deliverables
- Work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple competing tasks and demands
- Work independently and meet deadlines with a high degree of flexibility and commitment.
