Senior Industrial Engineer - Global Pharmaceutical Giant

Senior Industrial Engineer required for a fast-growing global pharmaceutical client based in Stouffville, Ontario.

This is a brand new role where you will join a thriving, growing and stable pharmaceutical giant working in their manufacturing facility in Stouffville.

You will be responsible for improving manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceuticals within a high volume processing and packaging environment by implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Blackbelt techniques.

For this role you must have had some sort of process improvement experience and clear examples of continuous improvement.

Your hands on responsibilities will include

- Reviewing and delivering on monthly production metrics
- Validating monthly cycle times for technical products including new product launches as well as validating yearly top 100 product cycle times.
- Developing new processes and tools to collect and communicate production data on a shift basis
- Develop strategy and technical work plans in relation with management
- Participate on corporate projects as a production subject matter expert
- Manage and suit production routing data in Oracle ERP
- Interact with your global colleagues to gain benchmarking data

For this role you must have a degree in Engineering or Science and training in Six Sigma, Blackbelt or Lean Manufacturing, certifications preferred. Additionally you should have 5-7 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry and ERP systems experience, preferably Oracle. Finally, you should be a strong communicator capable of working with all parts of the business and leading a team.

On offer is a salary of CAD $80-85K basic + bonus + health and dental and other benefits.
