Recruitment Consultant - Scientific

Due to our continued success Hays Pharma is looking for an experienced industry professional to join our team in London as a Consultant/Senior Consultant.

Our team is seeking a Senior consultant to help the existing group and to cover the expanding areas within the Scientific and Engineering sector. Someone with an industry background in either Scientific or Engineering will be highly desirable.

Your primary duties:
As a Senior Consultant, you will become a highly skilled and qualified recruitment professional. You will develop your sales and communication skills, commercial acumen and business credibility as we identify your strengths and fast track your career. Your achievements will be reflected in our attractive remuneration package. On a day to day basis you will work as part of a team involved in all aspects of recruitment. Working in a target driven sales environment you will locate, attract and liaise between candidates looking for work and clients seeking to employ staff. You will receive one-to-one and group training to perform all of the following recruitment tasks to a high standard:
- Identifying and targeting new clients by telephone and email to qualify them and initiate business relationships.
- Screening and qualifying candidates against suitable opportunities.
- Consulting with existing clients over recruitment project delivery; timescales, job descriptions and interviews.
- Providing continual support to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure high conversion ratios.
- Developing local market knowledge in UK territories and pharmaceutical industry knowledge to an expert level.
- Researching new territories using our in-house research methods.

Once you have been through a thorough induction and initial training programme you will be part of a team involved in all aspects of recruitment on a day to day basis, in a target driven sales capacity.
