Working within a highly qualified team you will effectively manage the activities of data management studies and staff in a manner that ensures all timeframes and targets are met, ensuring SOPs and appropriate regulations are adhered to.
Additonal Responsibilities:
Preparing and managing the overall project budget throughout the life cycle of the project, taking overall responsibility for cost control, timelines and project quality.
Overall responsibility for handling 2-3 projects with multiple studies running concurrently
Proactively identifying and managing resource needs to meet project/department timelines.
The review, assessment and implementation of new technologies as appropriate taking a leading role in the improvements
Effectively managing your team and conducting all appraisals
Ensuring all necessary training is provided to staff to improve their job performance and knowledge.
Experience and Qualification
With a background in medicine, science or other relevant discipline you will have previous appropriate experience within Data Management, and understanding of at least one Clinical Data Management system (eg Oracle Clinical, Clintrial), and a programming language (eg SQL, SAS).
In addition, you will also require
Experience in successfully managing project teams
Experience in liaising successfully with sponsors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal enabling you to deal with queries in a timely manner
Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines within a pressurised environment
Computer literate with Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to travel if required.
