Microbiology Lab Supervisor Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Laboratory Supervisor with Healthcare experience working in a laboratory setting and managing people. The candidate must be motivated and willing to be part of a fast paced service oriented team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage SOP and other documentation
-Be able to perform all routine testing and analyses of client specimens within department
-Reject samples and reassign testing based on company standards
-Monitor workflow to ensure client turnaround times are met
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a Healthcare Microbiology Laboratory
The candidate should have BS in the Life Sciences, MLT, Vet tech, HT, or MT certifications.
The candidate must have supervisory/management experience of at least 10-15 people, however it does not need to be specific to the healthcare field (i.e. any non-healthcare related work, small business owner)
