My client are Australia`s No`1 Pharmaceutical company - a local leader as well as a global player - they boast a presence in 27 countries and are getting up on 9,000 employees.

The company are in the midst of expanding their medical affairs department and are recruiting a Medical Product Specialist within the Heamatology/Immunology therapeutic area. The role will centre around providing specialist medical / scientific knowledge within this therapeutic area, while providing support to the marketing/sales teams.

Recruiting a Medical Product Specialist within the Immunology therapeutic area.

Involved in brand team meetings & providing the medical influence to the development of marketing strategy.

Medical/scientific support to product launches

Guidance/input to promotional materials/critically approve literature

Training /educational presentations on medical issues.

Support medical information & drug safety teams with more complex enquiries.

Liaison with KOLs Key Opinion leaders & Health Professionals, Health Services & Consumers

Experience:

Ideally 1 year + experience in a similar role to the above

A degree in a Medical Science or Scientific discipline inc Pharmacy.

A PHD qualification with extensive experience of literature review/literature analysis.

Immunology background.

Understanding of local legislation/guidelines ie Medicines Australia code of conduct desirable.

Excellent communication ability.

Evidence on cv of analytical skills (ability to source, review, and apply information.
