Top 5 Pharma. We are looking for a Medical Advisor/Associate Medical Director to support their rapidly growing portfolio of CNS /Pain Products. This role will specifically support products in the CNS/Pain therapy area both established and new to launch. You will have Pharma industry experience or will currently be working in CNS /Pain clinically or in academia. Based in Sydney 12 month maternity cover contract. Strong potential to extend.

BACKGROUND
Our client is a world leading research-based pharmaceutical company, with leadership across a number of therapy areas. Although the title is Associate Director given the size of the organisation and medical team the scope of the role is more aimed at Medical Advisor or Medical Marketing level.
Reporting to a Medical Director, you will work closely with your commercial colleagues to provide proactive input into the strategic management of the business, jointly agreeing, developing and implementing strategic direction within these key therapeutic areas, allowing commercial aims and ambitions to be met. The role requires a good understanding of clinical development processes and of the Australian code of conduct.
Theres great scope to make a real impact on the business in this highly interactive role - demanding effective strategic thinking and planning skills and the ability to network, teamwork and build influential relationships with your colleagues, customers and external opinion formers.
- You will provide medical and technical support for the products in their defined therapeutic areas CNS/Pain
- You will be involved in supporting all aspects of a products development and subsequent promotion through marketing and sales, enhancing the products value in all areas of business
- You will act as Adviser/Consultant providing medical input and review to the various medical department groups who support the products.
- Act as a core member of the Medical Marketing Team.
- The role will facilitate the interaction/partnership between key opinion leaders (KOLs), academia and the company

Qualifications: Medical Qualification OR Australian Medical Regiatration. At least 2 years Clinical Research experience. Prior experience in the Pharma industry. Ideally specialist experience in CNS and or Pain.
