Director of Health Economics & Reimbursement required for a rapidly expanding CRO based in Minneapolis.
Our client is currently undergoing rapid growth and is looking for a senior expert in health economics and reimbursement who can help grow the team and implement international health economic strategies in an effort to optimize reimbursement and demand.
In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of health economic and reimbursement services to clients. This will be achieved by assuring compliance with sound principles of economic assessment, developing innovative and effective communication tools for health economics information, managing the preparation of health economics data and leading cross-functional teams on the development and implementation of health economics plans and integration into the commercial strategies. You will also lead the Outcomes Research process.
As part of your role you will also be expected to maintain awareness of the evolving US and global healthcare markets and the needs of key decision-makers to inform development of pricing strategies. This will then involve responsibilities for developing claims and collection policies and managing accounts receivable to maximize reimbursement.
For this role you must have an advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, Epidemiology or Health Services Research and a minimum five years experience in the medical product industry and excellent analytical and qualitative skills. You should also have Class II and/or III medical device reimbursement experience for both hospital and physician office settings.
You should have strong communication skills and the ability to formulate reimbursement policy strategy and implement these strategies to shape global coding, coverage and reimbursement.
