Director, Therapeutic Operations - Cardiovascular

 I am currently recruiting for a leading global pharmaceutical company based on the East Coast. Following a reorganization of the senior management group they are seeking a Medical Director for their Cardiovascular business.
You will be the major clinical advisor and point of contact to the brand teams in the Marketing Department, providing strategic direction with regard to medical and Academic Affairs activities. They will be responsible for setting the strategy for CME, grants, IIS studies, publications, and professional relations for the therapeutic area, Cardiometabolic.
You will also be responsible for developing the strategies in a medical brand plan and then supervise the execution of the tactics in the plan. This role will lead the scientific review of concepts and materials submitted for Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) team approval, and be responsible for creating advisory/consultant board materials/strategies. This position will be the primary point of contact for the appropriate marketing team and will assist in developing strategies and tactics to support an approved brand or near term brand or franchise.
Requirements:
MD
Strong clinical and medical affairs experience
Strong cardiovascular experience in the industry and/or extremely strong clinical experience in the therapeutic area
