Chemistry Manager QA/QC Job Description:
Aerotek Scientific is currently hiring a CHEMISTRY MANAGER (QA/QC) for one of our clients in FORT DODGE, IA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strong analytical chemistry background with significant hands-on experience with GC and HPLC.
- Conduct/Lead research towards new products from bench to pilot to full manufacturing.
- Supervise QA laboratory technicians to ensure they are adequately trained and equipped
- Ensure quality execution of projects from chemical analysis, instrument maintenance, protocol design, method development, and project reporting.
Qualified candidates must have:
- BS in Chemistry or related field.
- Must have supervisory experience.
- 7-10 years of industry experience, in an analytical environment.
- instrumentation experience (HPLC, GC, extractions, spectroscopy, synthesis)
- Previous work in the Ethanol industry is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of mashing, fermentation and distillation as they relate to the ethanol production process preferred.
