Analyst - Biostatistics/SAS/Biotech 100-120 K/yr
A biomedical company in North Carolina is currently seeking a Lead Biostatistician for a full time employment opportunity!
Responsibilities
* Understand and manage the multiple requests for biomath resources on site
* Develop statistical techniques to transform instrument data into clinical results
* Design optimization methods for the knowledge bases associated with product development
* Serve as a mentor and conduct training sessions for company personnel with varied academic backgrounds on the statistical techniques used for product development
* Provide guidance and instruction on appropriate statistical evaluation methods and practices
* Supply appropriate statistical technical expertise when requested, including complaint investigation and justifications/explanations for regulatory agencies
* Create suitable research designs and methods and formulate realistic plans for data analyses
* Effectively communicate technical results to a wide variety of clients by clearly summarizing findings in oral, written, and graphical forms
Requirements
* BS, MS in Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline
* MS degree (5+ years) or BS degree (8+ years) of SAS programming, statistical analysis of biological data, and biotech industry experience
* Knowledge of FDA, QSR, ISO and industry quality systems
* Excellent written and oral technical communication skills
* Ability to work independently on complex statistical problems
* Experience managing teams
* Expertise in a high level programming language and advanced knowledge of statistical software (Plus)
* Aptitude in creative critical thinking (Plus)
